All economy travellers on Singapore Airlines can now pre-select their seats when they book their flights.
Previously, advance seat selection was open only to those who booked through the SIA website.
Others who went through travel agents or other channels had to wait until check-in, whether online or at the airport, before they could pick their seats.
The service is already in place for first and business class travellers, the airline said on Friday.
